TEXT DESIGN
Design of additional text features for a novel by Hanna Jameson.
The novel has strong ties to the online world, and this needed to be conveyed in the design but within the remits of a monochrome hardback. The brief required sourcing typefaces and glyphs to recreate posts as they would appear on platforms such as Twitter, Weibo and Reddit. Designs for journal article summaries and news articles fading into a paywall were also required, along with a toolbar graphic to emanate the act of typing in a word document.
