Text design for a book of collected writings on the African continent by late author and activist Binyavanga Wainaina.
As the collection of texts varied in content, a number of text styles needed to be designed, including for news extracts, dramatic verse, and recipes. I also created the overarching template, including for preliminary pages and endmatter, accommodating a number of heading levels in a clearly comprehensible hierarchy.
