Text design for an historical novel by prominent author Zadie Smith.
I created a full template, accommodating display text such as letters and dramatic verse, as well as preliminary pages and endmatter. Along with these standard features, the design also required selecting a secondary typeface evocative of Victorian England that works with Fournier to set feature elements such as news clippings.
