TYPESETTING & CHART DESIGN
Typesetting and chart design for a research paper by Nuffield Trust, commissioned by Soapbox.
I created all the charts for the report using brand colours and styles, and typeset the report, styling all text elements and tidying the text – ensuring no stacked words, correct use of hyphens and en dashes, suitable spacing between words and characters, neat paragraph rags, and a number of other important considerations for optimal readability.
I also applied interactive elements for the digital publication, and tested to ensure these were working correctly – including top bar buttons on every page to navigate to other chapters, hyperlinked references to websites, and a linked contents page.
